Last Updated: December 2024

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MiniJoy Park's facilities, website, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our facilities or services.

MiniJoy Park reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our facilities following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Facility Usage and Safety Requirements

MiniJoy Park is designed exclusively for children aged 0-5 years. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for their children's safety and behavior during their visit.

Visitors must follow all posted safety rules and staff instructions. This includes proper use of equipment, adherence to age restrictions for specific zones, and compliance with capacity limits. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any visitor who fails to comply with safety requirements or whose behavior poses a risk to themselves or others.

Children must wear appropriate clothing including socks at all times in play areas. We recommend comfortable, secure clothing without loose accessories that could pose safety hazards. Outside food and beverages are permitted only in designated eating areas. Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on all premises.

3. Health and Hygiene Standards

For the safety and wellbeing of all visitors, children showing signs of illness including fever, cough, rash, vomiting, or diarrhea will not be permitted entry. We maintain strict sanitization protocols, but cannot guarantee a germ-free environment.

Parents must ensure their children use appropriate hygiene facilities and change areas. We reserve the right to request visitors to use our changing facilities if necessary. Any accidents or hygiene incidents must be immediately reported to staff.

4. Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

While MiniJoy Park maintains high safety standards and regularly inspects all equipment, participation in physical play activities inherently involves some risk of injury. By entering our facility, you acknowledge and accept these risks on behalf of yourself and your children.

MiniJoy Park, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from the use of our facilities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. This includes injuries resulting from the actions of other visitors, equipment malfunction despite regular maintenance, or accidents during supervised play.

We strongly recommend that all visitors maintain appropriate personal insurance coverage. MiniJoy Park maintains public liability insurance as required by Australian law, but this does not replace the need for personal coverage.

5. Lost and Found Property

MiniJoy Park is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. We recommend keeping valuable items secured and minimizing personal belongings brought into play areas. Lost items will be held for 30 days before being donated to charity.

6. Photography and Privacy

MiniJoy Park may take photographs or videos of our facilities and visitors for promotional purposes. By entering our premises, you consent to such photography and the use of these images in our marketing materials, website, and social media platforms.

If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed, please inform our staff upon entry, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not appear in background shots of our facilities.

Personal photography by visitors is permitted for private use only. Visitors must respect the privacy of other families and should not photograph other people's children without explicit permission from their parents or guardians.

7. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Party bookings and special event reservations require advance notice and confirmation. Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking and will be clearly communicated at the time of reservation.

MiniJoy Park reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances including equipment failure, facility issues, or public health concerns. In such cases, we will provide appropriate notice and alternative arrangements or compensation as applicable.

8. Conduct and Behavior Expectations

All visitors must treat staff, other visitors, and facility property with respect. Aggressive behavior, harassment, discrimination, or abusive language will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the premises without compensation.

Children must be supervised at all times to ensure they play safely and respectfully with others. Parents are responsible for managing their children's behavior and intervening when necessary to prevent conflicts or unsafe situations.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the MiniJoy Park website and premises, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MiniJoy Park and protected by Australian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.

10. Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency, all visitors must follow staff instructions immediately. Emergency exits are clearly marked, and evacuation procedures are posted throughout the facility. Parents must ensure they can be reached via the contact information provided at entry.

In case of injury or medical emergency, our staff will provide basic first aid and contact emergency services if necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to contact parents or guardians immediately.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our facilities shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

12. Contact Information
